She was predeceased by : her mother Carrie Etta McMillian Carter. She is survived by : her sisters, Kalisha Leaigh Henderson (Johnnie Henderson) of Henderson and Christian Lynette Carter of Wilkesboro; her stepbrother Dameron Carter of Wilkesboro, N. C.; her stepfather Michael Carter of Wilkesboro; her aunt Benita Dowell-Carter of Charlotte; and her nieces and nephews, KaMya Henderson, Kadience Henderson, Johnathan Henderson, Jeremiah Cannaday and Zechariah Cannaday. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
