He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley McDowell; his parents, Ernest McDowell and Mable McDowell; his brother Michael McDowell; and his sons, Timmy McGee, Tal McGee and Bryan McGee.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin McGee (Lisa) of Pink Hill, NC and Kelby McGee (Renee) of Beulaville, NC.; and his siblings, Sharon Henderson (Kent) of Pink Hill, NC, Mary Shortis (Richard) of Beulaville, NC, Shelby Ledford (Bobby) of Morganton, NC, Linda Whaley, James McDowell (Phyllis) and Ernie McDowell (Kimm). He is also survived by Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the East Duplin Memorial Gardens.
