He was predeceased by : his wife Gilda Jo East Branagan; and his parents, Keith Branagan and Teresa Golda Waterstraat Branagan. He is survived by : his children, Dixie Lee Branagan Howell (Thomas), Matthew David Branagan and Joshua Waylon Branagan (Kasey); and his siblings, Sue Auert and Craig Branagan (Jeanine). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to K Kids Dachshund Rescue, Inc., PO Box 1367, Staunton, VA 24402.
