He was predeceased by : his parents, Newton Claud Marion and Ella Viola Hardy Marion; his grandson Charles Bryant Norman; and his siblings, Claude Burton Marion, Tony Marion, Beulah Grey Marion Perkins and Nancy Marion Dezern.
He is survived by : his wife Sue Scott Marion; his daughters, Sharon Marion Jessup (Chet) and Sonja Marion Norman (Reid) of Pilot Mountain; his grandchildren, Austin, Elizabeth Jessup and Matthew Norman; and his sister Hazel M. Tucker.
