It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Mary Duke in Pisgah Forest, North Carolina, born in Floral Park, New York, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her grandmother Joan Mary Duke; her parents, Charles Davis and Mary Davis; her husband Charles Irving Duke (Charlie); and her daughter Susan McAlpin.
She is survived by : her children, Stephen Duke (Carla), Patrice Jerome (Phillip), David Duke (Tineasia) and Elizabeth MacDonald (Scott); her grandchildren, Chris McAlpin, Aaron McAlpin and Patrice McAlpin; and her pet Murphy. She is also survived by grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
