It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Philip Mayrand Jr. of Pisgah Forest, North Carolina, born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Mayrand, Sr. and Evelyn Brown. He is survived by : his wife Diane Carr; his stepdaughters, Meagan and Kira Earley; his sister Cecile (Ed Broadhurst); and his nephews, Chip Taylor and Graham Cavenaugh.

In place of flowers, the family requests online, mailed, or in-person donations be made to The Military History Museum of the Carolinas, a local organization with which Phil felt exceptionally connected.
