It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katie Sanders (Pittsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on December 26, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Evans and Lena Cotton Evans; and her husband J. B. Sanders. She is survived by : her sons, Gilbert Sanders (Shirley), Jerry Sanders (Louise) and Freddie Sanders (Toni). She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
