It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Morehead of Pittsboro, North Carolina, born in Woodstock, Illinois, who passed away on July 5, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dorothy Morehead and Gail Morehead; his wife Cathy; his children, Micheal, Robert Morehead and Jocelyn Ford (Grady); his granddaughters, Hazel and Ruby; and his sisters, Barbara Nelson (Larry), Peggy Garman and Patti Harvath (Mike). He was also cherished by his wife, children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is collecting donations for the Greenbrier River Trail Association with hopes and plans of having a bench installed along the river trail in Ray's honor and memory. Donations can be mailed to 207 East Bailey Road, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
