It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Garrett Hull (Pleasant Garden, North Carolina), who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Horace Milton "Bud" Garrett and Nellie A. Garrett; her siblings, Frank, Howard, Harvey, Ross, Joe, Jack, Glenn Garrett, Annie Poe and Margie Causey; and her son Bradley Wayne Fields.

She is survived by : her children, Warren Ingram of Liberty, Debra Fields Wood (Benny) of Greensboro and Karen Fields Barbone of St. Johns, FL; and her daughter-in-law Ginny Bullard Fields of Climax. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
