With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Tidwell of Pleasant Garden, North Carolina, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on February 24, 2021 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Tidwell to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Marvin Layne, Sr. and Christine Blanks Layne. She is survived by : her husband Nathan P. Tidwell; her son Michael S. Brayshaw; and her stepsons, Joe Edward Tidwell (Candy) and Robert William Tidwell (Jessica). She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hamil Kerr Parkinson's Foundation, 1804 Guilford College Road, Jamestown, NC 27282.
