He was predeceased by: his parents, G. W. Oakley and Mabel; and his siblings, Caesar Oakley, Richard Oakley and Lois Workman (Bernice Oakley).
He is survived by: his wife Betty G. Oakley; and his children, William Michael Oakley, Theresa Jimenez (Mondo), Ed Oakley (Susan) and Brian D. Oakley. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
