He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hilliard and Rosabelle Fields Hilliard; his brother Herman Hilliard, Jr.; his wife Ann Hilliard; his children, Rick Hilliard (Blair) of Greensboro, Paula McMillan (Zach) of Summerfield and Cheryl Habrat (Dan) of Wilmington; his siblings, Gene Lasley and Larry Hilliard of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Halle, Haven, Zahn and Hylan; and his siblings' children, Bobby, Todd, Tracy, Leslie, Sherry, Sally and Michelle.
