With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Henry McLaughlin Sr. (Pleasant Garden, North Carolina), who passed away on May 11, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew McLaughlin and Kate Evelyn Morehead McLaughlin; his wife Valentine McLaughlin; and his son Phil Rapone. He is survived by: his sons, Scot Collins (Joan), Andrew McLaughlin (Sandra), Joe H. McLaughlin, Jr. (Tammy) and Kevin McLaughlin (Miranda); his daughter-in-law Cathy Rapone; his sisters, Dora Wise and Sue Behrens; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Katelyn, Ashley, Brandon, Adelaide, Finley, Kate and Quinn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
