He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Mark Capps and Kellie Capps (Dwayne Turner); his uncle Ray Braswell (Geneva); his brothers, Archie Capps and Tim Morris (Brenda); his sister-in-law Eve Young; and his grandchildren, Clairee Young, Smith Young, Georgia Maffeo and Cassie Turner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Glenwood Presbyterian Church (1205 Glenwood Ave, Greensboro, NC 27403).
