She was predeceased by : her parents, Odell Taylor and Annie Mae Simmons Taylor; her husband Carson Meade Fields; and her son Carlon Odell Fields. She is survived by : her son Stanley Fields of Pleasant Garden; her granddaughters, Julia Fields Bailey (Matthew) of Sugar Grove and Kaylen Fields of Boone; and her siblings, Lesia Thurber of Huntersville and Randall Taylor (Jennifer) of Summerville. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions this service is limited to 50 people.
