She was predeceased by: her parents, William Coleman Edwards and Lillie Maggie Nance Edwards; her husband James H. Griffin; and her sister Nancy Airington. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Flake of Polkton, Jerry Griffin (Julie) of Talladega, AL and Cindy Ross (Robbie) of Polkton; her grandchildren, Kenneth Atkinson, Kristen Huntley (Brown), Karlyn Beachum, Tori Ross (Jay), Josiah Griffin, Matthew Ross (Brandi), Tonya Magliocca (Nick) and Tiffany Ross; and her sisters, Lucy Shehan of Ft. Mill, SC and Gladys Godwin of New Salem.
