It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Hurley High of Polkton, North Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, C. N. Hurley and Louise Wilson Hurley; her daughter Beverly Jean High; and her sister Dottie Crews. She is survived by: her husband Charles B. High; her children, Suzanne Eddins (Jacky), Charlene Sikes (Steve) of Polkton and Ralph High of Polkton; her grandchildren, Nick Eddins (Natalie), Amy Robinson (Bobby), Megan Rogers (Jeff) and Steven Chase Sikes; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Kate, Emma, Andrew, Luke Dean, Beverly and Michael; and her sisters, Shirley Rice of Casar, NC and Joyce Bare of Laurel Springs, NC..
In an effort to protect the public from the Covid-19 pandemic, the family has chosen to hold their services privately.
