It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gilbert Caudle Jr. of Polkton, North Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gilbert Caudle, Sr. and Margaret Julia Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Betty Thomas Caudle; his daughter Yvonne Neal (Stuart) of Monroe; his granddaughters, Lori Haney (Henry) of Marshville and Erin Oates (Nicholas) of Rock Hill, SC; his great grandchild Peyton Wade of Raleigh; and his siblings, Ann Brooks (Benny) of Wadesboro, Larry Caudle (Ann) of Polkton, Rodney Caudle (Denise) of Polkton and Jean Wright of Polkton.
The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
