It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Wayne Ingold of Polkton, North Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Pressley Rankin Ingold (P. R.) and Clara Poe Ingold. He is survived by : his wife Betty Alber Ingold; his daughter Jennifer Norris (Matthew Norris); his grandchildren, Emma Horne, Chris Norris and Bryan Norris of Mt. Gilead, NC; his son Joel Ingold, Jr. (Diane) of Pinebluff, NC; his son-in-law John Ingold (Anita); his grandchildren, Tiffany Ingold and Nick Ingold of Wilmington, NC.; his brother Robert Ingold (Shirley); his nephew Aaron Freeman; his niece Crystal Cockman of High Point, NC.; his great grandchildren, Landon and Linley; his daughter-in-law Harriett Leary; and his close friend Billy Seguin.
