As Linda Sue departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Linda Sue may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Linda Sue leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, S. A. Faulkner and Carrie Faulkner; her husband J. R. Laton; her brother Bill Faulkner; her brothers-in-law, Don Layton and Roger Layton; and her niece Rebecca Faulkner Holt.
She is survived by: her brother Johnnie Faulkner (Joy); and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Faulkner and Teresa Whitley Layton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Albemarle Foursquare Church (24238 S Business 52, Albemarle, NC 28001).
