It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Steele Thompson of Polkton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 2, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Claude Eugene and Rosie Adams Steele; and her siblings, Claude "Sonny" Steele Jr. and Mary Grace Jones. She is survived by : her close friend Precious; her children, Marvin "Bo" Thompson (Bonnie) of Wadesboro and Wanda Tillman (Ross) of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Amanda Thompson, Miranda "Shug" Thompson and Grady "Gene" Thompson (Shaina); her great grandchildren, Brant Gibson, Garrett Gibson, Stephanie Gibson, Richard Martin Jr., Summer Martin, Prentice Martin, Logan Thompson and Presley Thompson; her close friend Ralph Gilmore; her siblings, Biven Steele (Dorothy) of Lilesville, Virgil Steele (Ruth) of Wadesboro, Eddie B. Steele of Wadesboro and Peggy Trexler (David) of Wadesboro; and her sister-in-law Lois Steele of Wadesboro.
