She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fred Simmons and Rosa Isabelle Mauney Simmons of Polkville; her husband Allan Paul; her brothers, Fred Simmons (Eunice) and Glenn Simmons (Jeanette); and her grandson Michael Simmons.
She is survived by: her sister Imogene Carroll of Destin, FL; and her children, Randolph Simmons (Marina) of Georgia, Lynda Morrow (Dennis), Glenn Paul of Fletcher, NC and Bruce Paul (Lyn) of Shelby, NC.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as a plethora of nieces and nephews.
