It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deacon Wilbert Henry Bowe (Providence, North Carolina), born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on July 10, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bowe, Sr. and Ethel Garrett Bowe Covington; his wife Myra Evelyn Jones Bowe; his sister Eleanor McNeill; his siblings-in-law, Loretta Jones, Kenneth Jones, John Jones, Jr. and Frank McNeill; and his grandson Byron Slade.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vanessa Bowe Jeffries (Lee) of Danville, VA, Valerie Bowe of Danville, VA, Vickie Bowe of Danville, VA and Vernita Bowe of Durham, NC; and his siblings, Doris Harper of Danville, VA and John Bowe, Jr. (Clara) of Danville, VA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be no visitation at the residence.
