With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Barber of Providence, North Carolina, born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on January 19, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bailey and Geraldine Bailey; and her daughter Cathy Barber. She is survived by: her spouse Swanson Roosevelt Barber; her children, Pamela Barber and Michael Barber (Wanda); her grandchildren, Dwayne Walker, Bryan Walker, Chasity Swann, Jessica Swann and Tommy Collins; and her siblings, Patricia White, Mildred Moorefield, Thomas Bailey and Fred Bailey. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
