It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Jean Pearson Faw of Purlear, North Carolina, who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hampton and Lorene Eunice McGlamery Pearson; and her son Jerry Wayne Faw. She is survived by: her husband Albert Faw of Purlear; her children, Steve Faw (April) of Wilkesboro, Tim Faw, Marcy Shelton of Purlear and Janine Faw Cannon of North Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Mark Faw of Millers Creek, Amber Little (Tyler) of North Wilkesboro, Kalup Cannon (Stephanie) of Millers Creek, Kaison Cannon (Heather) of Millers Creek, Grayson Faw of Wilkesboro and Duncan Faw of Wilkesboro; and her great grandchildren, Maddox Cannon, Seve Cannon and Shiloh Little. She is also survived by four sisters; and two brothers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Service (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). The lying in state will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (1624 Pads Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
