He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Charles and Ida Alice Patterson; his wife Betty June Patterson (Beavers); and his son Wesley Stuart Patterson. He is survived by: his son Marcus Brent Patterson; his grandchildren, Jonathan Ashton Caulder, Daniel Brent Patterson and Danae Camille Patterson; and his great grandchild Diane Jean Patterson.
