He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus McDowell and Alice Thatcher McDowell; and his daughter Cindi McDowell. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his brother Arlo (Jay); his daughters, Katherine and Kim; and his grandchildren, Raven, Nina, William and Lindsey.

Albert Charles McDowell, 85, of Raleigh NC, died on October 1, 2023 after a belligerent battle with Parkinson's disease.
