She was predeceased by: her daughter Jeny Walker; and her sister Jane Vallentyne Leaycraft. She is survived by: her children, Allin Vallentyne Walker (Margaret Lockwood) and Stewart Mims Walker; her adoptive son William Edwin Walker (Edgar Waenke); her grandchildren, Theodore Walker, Andrew Walker (Katie), Zachary Walker (Jillian), Jessica Moldenhauer and Marsha Umanzor (Edis); and her niece Janet Hoyle Slaughter. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the White Memorial Presbyterian Church (1704 Oberlin Rd, Raleigh, NC 27608).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Transitions LifeCare Hospice, Endowment Fund, 250 Hospice Cir.
