It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Azell Nelson (Raleigh, North Carolina), born in Marshall, Virginia, who passed away on July 16, 2018, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Dina Nelson; his son Shane Nelson (Rhyan) of Raleigh, NC; his siblings, Ann Nelson, Joyce Urby, Lillian Walker (Robert) and Eugene Nelson; his mother-in-law Martha Harper; his siblings-in-law, Marian Nelson, Mattie Nelson, Jean Nelson and Jameson Carter; and also Jones. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and great friends.
