She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hedgepeth and Amanda Strickland Hedgepeth; her significant other James A. Suggs, Jr.; and her son Sandy Suggs. She is survived by: her children, Alan Suggs (Lisa) and Susan Shearman; her grandchildren, Hannah, Zack, Wayne and Gwen Milder (Max); and her great grandchild Charlotte. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
