He was predeceased by : his parents, Berry Fredrick Sears and Bertha Searls Sears; his wife Inez Yates Sears; and his siblings, Pansy Herndon (Raymond), Rachel Yates (Clair), Margaret Watson (Clifton), Berry Sears Jr. (Ruth), Durward Sears (Clyde), Oneal Sears (Bonnie), John Sears (Maggie Bell) and Clair Sears (Lucy Gray).
He is survived by : his son Danny Sears; and his brother-in-law Clifton Watson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
