She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lee and Audrey Parrish Burtchette; and her daughter Sharon Renee Wilder (James Smith). She is survived by: her siblings, Vicky Davis (Bobby) of Raleigh and Donald Burtchette (Shyrl) of The Villages, Florida; and her siblings' children, Melanie Kraft (John) of La Plata, Maryland, Kim Tressler (Shayne) of Bullock, Jennifer (Jimmie Long) of Chaptico, Maryland and Karley (Joe).
