She was predeceased by : her parents, Helen Allen and George McIntosh Norwood; her daughter Julie Holderness; and her brothers, Mac, Charles and Joe Norwood.

She is survived by : her children, Carol Thornhill (George) and George Anderson (Katherine); her son-in-law Richard Holderness; and her grandchildren, Tad, Cooper Thornhill, Hilary Ferrel, Anne Avera, Julie Shaw, Richard Thurston, Austen, Anderson Holderness, Emily Payne and Caroline Birckhead. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
