It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Robert Huston Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Huston Sr. and Louise Eleanor Huston of Talcott, WV.. He is survived by: his children, John K Huston (Mame Huston) of Charlotte, NC, Kevin D. Huston (Angie Huston) of Apex, NC and Martha H. Collins (James W. Collins, II) of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church (1785 Mt Gilead Church Rd, Pittsboro, NC 27312). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
