She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence William Ballard, Sr. and Jean Kirk Ballard; and her brother Carroll Ballard. She is survived by: her husband Robert Whittington Norris, Sr.; her brother Clarence Ballard, Jr.; her children, Robert Norris, Jr. (Whitt) and Jenny McCraw (Neill); and her grandchildren, Hannah Rhylee McCraw and Samuel Isaac McCraw. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forest Hills Baptist Church; the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation; or the Wake County SPCA.
