She was predeceased by : her parents, Doris Sherman Thorne and William Duncan Thorne. She is survived by : her husband Terry Schmoeger; her son Adam Schmoeger; her siblings, Alan, Robert Thorne and Nancy Hinkel; and her pets, Burton and Teak.

Due to COVID a memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to a charity of your choice.
