It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Joyner Frisbie in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bryan Joyner and Ruby Joyner; her cousin David Joyner; her husband Jim; her children, Penelope "Penny" Louise Frisbie, James "Jimmy" Franklin Frisbie, Jr., Nixon and Stephanie Joyner Phelps (Renn); her grandchildren, Mary Charles and Henry; her son David Charles Joyner, Jr. (Meredith); her grandson David Charles Joyner, III; and her cousins, Lou Ann Jackson (Lance) of Clemmons, NC, Dayle Vaughan of Lewiston, NC and Kim Vaughan of Raleigh. She was also cherished by her three godchildren.
