He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocher Hagwood and Lorene Strum Hagwood; his former wife Mary C. Hagwood; and his stepdaughter Angela Lynn Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Thompson Hagwood; his stepdaughter Kelly C. Muller (William) of Cornelius; his sister Carol H. Taylor (Danny) of Clayton; his stepchildren, David Thompson and Cathy T. Kirby (Steve); his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Thompson, Charlotte Thompson, Alex Batchelor (Andy Bolin), David Batchelor, Dalton Kirby (Adriana Thompson), Steven Kirby (Crystal) and Chris Kirby; and his great grandchild Bowen Kirby.
