He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barbour and Estelle Barbour; his son Steven Barbour; and his brother Sherwood Barbour. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Barbour, Jr. of Raleigh and James D. Barbour of Zebulon; and his sister-in-law Jean Barbour of Raleigh. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
