He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Dowd and Patricia Dowd; his wife Darlene Farmer Dowd; and his brother Bobby Dowd. He is survived by: his children, Ralph Dowd, Jr. (Lynn), Kevin Dowd (Jennifer), Roxanne Carlson (John) and Laurie Oleshak (Duncan); and his brother Dennis Dowd.
