She was predeceased by : her grandson John Matthew Castro. She is survived by : her husband Juan Castro; her children, Veronica Castro, Columba Castro and Juvenal Castro (Soraya); and her grandchildren, Austin Bueno, Kathelin Castro, Joseph Castro and Selenia Castro.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Holy Infant Catholic Church (1042 Freeway Dr., Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
