It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Elmer Gramling of Reidsville, North Carolina, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Gramling and Leona Seitz Gramling; his wife Janet L. Gramling (Beckman); his siblings, Henry Gramling, II and Margaret Gramling; and his grandson Benjamin Gramling.

He is survived by : his sister Eleanor Fischer; his children, Jeffrey Gramling (Cheryl), Tricia Parsons, Scott Gramling (Holly) and Kari McEowen (Jack); and his grandchildren, Nicholas Stinnett (Aranda), Vincent Stinnett (Danielle), Hannah Gramling, Derek Gramling (Samantha), Jacob Gramling, Daniel Gramling, Katherine Niemeyer (Mitchell), Christian Chapman and Joshua McEowen.

Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
