With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ila Shelton McKee of Reidsville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemmie Shelton and Agnes Shelton; her grandmother Kee; her husband Neal McKee; her son Ernie McKee; and her siblings, Ernest Shelton, Lewis Shelton, Ralph Shelton, Roy Lester Shelton, Alice Goins and Ruby Griffin.
She is survived by: her son Dean McKee (Patricia) of Reidsville, NC; her grandchildren, Missy Vernon (Larry), Sandra Nichols (Van), Angie Petty (Tracy) and Jeff McKee (Dana); her great grandchildren, Timmy Wilson (Maddie), Breanna Wilson (Drake), Kendall Petty (Lauren), Adam Bartlett and Katelyn Petty; her daughter-in-law Wanda McKee; and her pet Gigi. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
