James Cary Gatewood III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Cary Gatewood III (Reidsville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Cary Gatewood Jr. and Zoe Olivia Rodgers Gatewood; his half-sister Christy Clement (Craig) of Trinity; his cousins, Pam Anderson, Greg Krehel, Mary Buchanan and Stephanie Dillon; and his stepsiblings, Holt Williford (Kathy) and Beverly Giles.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodmont United Methodist Church (1926 Richardson Dr, Reidsville, NC 27320).
