He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Lee Groff Sr. and Arabell Burnett Groff; his wife Jane P Groff of Mayodan, NC.; and his siblings, Henry, Hiawatha, Robert "Buck", Malcom "Pete" Groff, Maddie Groff, Annie G. Gray and Ola G. Dalton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as several brothers and sisters in law.
