With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of McArthur Lawson of Reidsville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Lavern Pickard. He is survived by: his parents, Evelyn Fountain and Reverend George Pickard (Ernestine); his children, Maurice Lawson, Montae Lawson, Marcus Lawson and Malik Lawson; and his siblings, Eric Johnson, Johnnie Ray, George Lawson, Marietta Lawson, Loretta Jenkins and Lavatry Pickard. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home (721 E Morehead St, Reidsville, NC 27320). Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (401 Hubbard St, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
