With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Bradley Shatney of Reidsville, North Carolina, born in Hardwick, Vermont, who passed away on January 1, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Shatney and Clara Shatney; and his brothers, Kenneth Shatney, Leslie Shatney and Glenn Shatney.
He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Albright Shatney; his daughters, Cindy Davis (Jerry) and Linda Whitehead (Donnie); his grandchildren, Jennifer Knapp (James), Phillip Danforth (Tristina), Michael Danforth (Tosha), Daniel Whitehead (Samantha) and Thomas Whitehead (Rachel); his great grandchildren, James Knapp, Jr., Bayliegh Danforth, Jayce Young, Hayden Danforth, Bentley Danforth, Maddie Whitehead, Gabe Whitehead and Gabbie Whitehead; his sister Carol Brill; and his sisters-in-law, Becky Shatney and Sharon Shatney.
