Garris of Durham; her sister Ruth Hankins of Jackson; her nieces, Barbara Cutler (Elder Theodore) and Cora Anne Chapman; her daughter Ellen Harper; her nephew Andrew Chapman; her brother-in-law Dr. Reverend Murray Edwards (Joyce); her daughter Pamela Harris; her grandson Jamal K. Harris; and her sister Flossie Chapman. She was also cherished by cousins, other relatives and friends.
