She was predeceased by : her parents, Jessie Lowe, Sr. and Daisy Boone Lowe; the father of her children Leroy Barmer; her husband Perry Bryant; her granddaughter Jane Marie Barmer Johnson; and her siblings, Jesse, Robert Lowe and Rena Broglin.
She is survived by : her children, Rev. Robert Barmer (Janie) of Windsor, Wesley Barmer (Lola) of Battleboro and Sally Ann Barmer of Nashville; her grandchildren, Carolyn Ann Barmer Watson of Raleigh, Eddie Barmer of Richmond, VA and Daniel Barmer of Rocky Mount; her great grandchildren, Shelby Madison Watson of Raleigh, Kaitlyn Barmer, Hannah Barmer of Middlesex, Dylan Barmer of Battleboro and Andrew Barmer of Middlesex; and her siblings, Thelma Elliott of Rich Square, Margaret Brittenham (Thomas) of Ahoskie, Betty Bigalow of Greensboro, Billy Lowe of Rocky Mount and Cleveland Lowe of Rich Square, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
