She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Daughtry and Ludie Lee Daughtry; her husband Charles David Peterson; her son Paul Lewis Peterson; and her siblings, Gordon Daughtry, Lacy Daughtry, Joyce Porter, Jean Daughtry, Jaxie Smith and Clarence Daughtry.

She is survived by: her children, Delia K. Peterson Hunter and David Peterson, Jr.; her grandchildren, Lauren South Whiteside (Jamarius) of Gainesville, GA, Charline Peterson Whitebread (Chris) of Fallon and Ronald Tyler Hunter of Greer, SC; and her great grandchildren, Avery Claire Whiteside, Cameron Lewis Whitebread and Chelsea Rae Whitebread.
